School Shows: Acting, Directing, Mime, Producing,

I have an MFA in Acting from Brandeis University and have been active in the world of professional theatre for over 50 years. I am a member of the Screen Actor's Guild as well as the Actor's Equity stage union.

A founding member of the Boston Repertory Theatre, I have written, directed and produced original productions of "Animal Farm," Kurt Vonnegut Jr's "Player Piano," St. Exupery's "The Little Prince," and educational theatre productions of Greek Myths, Shakespeare, Mime, Poetry, and Mathmatics.

"The Little Prince" toured nationally for years, was at one point the longest running show in Boston. A San Francisco production garnered a Drama Desk award for directing.

My solo show, "Poetry In Motion," has had more than 6,000 performances over 30 years and been seen by over a million students. With Richard McElvain I also perform shows on Greek Myths, Shakespeare, and Math.

During the pandemic I taught myself DaVinci Resolve editing software, and put three of our school shows online as recorded programs.
